Masonic Lodge embarks on restoration plan

Hiram Lodge No. 7 in Franklin, one of Tennessee's oldest civic institutions, is embarking on a significant restoration plan. The Lodge is digitizing its extensive archives and planning to open them to the public. A special event on September 28, 2014, will announce the restoration efforts, which include stabilizing the 200-year-old building and eventually creating a museum and research archives. The Lodge seeks community support to preserve this national landmark for future generations.
